Oh I dont use savestate on Dragon Quest I only save in-game.
Maybe bad rip? I don't have that game. Is something interesting written in the emulog? If you don't know the difference between interesting and uninteresting stuff just port the whole thing.
I got one from Emuparadise and the other from Romulation and they both seem to fail.
Again sorry for double post but these are the settings I have in Emulation settings.
