Hey

I downloaded the new pcsx2 release. After running it for the first time, it asked me to configure, which I did. Afterwords I click ok, and then I get a message box popping up saying
"An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occured, with the message
bad allocation
Pcsx2 will now close. More detail may be available via the emulog.txt file"

Here's what it says the emulog.txt:

I tried repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling, even deleting stuff from registry but I still keep on getting this problem.

Is there anything anyone can do to help me?

Try restarting your pc or closing all open programms. If that still fails, please attach a screenshot of the error message.

Actually don't worry now. It works.

The reason is because I transferred my old plugins into 0.9.6's plugin folder.

I deleted all of them and uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked.

i knew it was old plugins (probably gsdx {which needs some d3dx9_xXX.dll if using d3d9})

actualy, i have exactly the same problem, but in my case it sais

Out of memory!
Pcsx2 will now close. More detail may be available via the emulog.txt file"

and it annoying me like hell! i can't run ANY GAME! help me

@koryfunny Have you tried running the game as administrator or updating the plugins? restarting the computer may help as well

i tried all of those and other options....
