Trying to record some glitches in games using GSdx's built-in recorder (F12) because my PCs suck, but no matter which format I choose, no video is made. A "recording.wav" file with the sound captured (which works perfectly) appears, but only in Uncompressed mode. The "Config..." button does nothing either. YUY2 or RGB32 seem to affect nothing (other than the speed, slightly).

Using latest GitHub build (8th May, 2014).
GSdx Settings:

Hardware Hacks:
- Alpha Hack
- Skipdraw: 3

Using default PCSX2 settings, with speedhacks:
- VU Steal: 2 (3 makes no difference)
- EE Steal: 0 (as it is useless on this game)
- INTC Speed Detection, Wait Loop Detection and mVU Flag Hack enabled.

If it matters, I'm using default SPU2-X settings, with Async Mix enabled.
Did you hit F12 again to stop recording? (im not sure, but if i remember correctly, you need to press f12 twice to stop the recording)
Yes, I press F12 while recording to stop it (the audio file stops being written) so when I pres F12 again it shows me the recording menu.
wow... you probably hold the record for the weakest machine in the forum...

Could it be a write permission problem? Where do you try to save the files?
I write them in the Videos library.

Try manually typing the path of the video when the box pops-up, for example C:/myvideo.avi (add the extension like this too)
Ah, I do. In fact I think I can take a pic of my menu right before I start recording.

8 years old, actually!

EDIT: I overclocked it back to 1.46 GHz, but damn it heats up quickly.
I FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!
Apparently the extension isn't typed in the directory place (where you type it), even if you choose it using the Browse button, so you have to manually add it for it to work.
