I'm running Pac-Man World 2 from my own copy on the most recent version of PCSX2 (has to be the most recent version, I downloaded it today). Configuration went well, everything works fine until the game tries to render an extra life during the tutorial text- the sound keeps playing but video and input freeze. The wiki says this game runs fine so I'm willing to believe I did something wrong. What is the first thing I should try? Thanks so much.
In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
- Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
- The version of PCSX2 you are using.
- Any non default settings you are using.
- What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
Thank You.
My specs:
CPU - i7 2600
Graphics Card- GTS 450
Memory- 8GB DDR3
OS- Windows 7 x64
Version of PCSX2- You didn't read my post.
But that's ok. No non-default settings except that I use ZeroSPU2 for audio (the default had no sound) and used realtime rather than timeskipping for audio. Everything else is default.
Here is a pic. The extra life is just... not there. It's surreal.
