Just as the title says I am having great lag in battle only for this game, I have tried the setups posted on many threads on this site but to no avail. I assume they are outdated so i'm asking for a present setup or any configuration help. i experience 50-70 fps mostly but when I enter battle or view an enemy in the bestiary the game drops to 35 fps or less. I have all speed hacks on except Fast CDVD (as it's not necessary for my problem), My EE/IOP is on default Vus are on default, My framerates are 200% 100% 200% and i am not using any gamefixes (this is all on pcsx2 1.2.1 if it matters)

As for my Computer specs (laptop)

Processor AMD A8-3500M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics 1.5 GHz

RAM: 6GB (5.48 available)

So, in short, new drivers and processor or no hope of full speed during graphically demanding parts of games?

in short : better keep playing it on your PS2 until you can afford a better machine.
that one's way too weak for pcsx2
