@Quickgold: did you try updating directx?

try updating directx, maybe a Visual Studio runtime will be needed, i had some trouble loading my GSDX compiled earlier with VS without the runtimes

I have the latest version 10 which came by default with the Windows Vista, What would have I to update, install or reinstall?

yea that can be pretty confusing (ppl might think that by having dx10 that they already have the latest dx, but there's actually revision updates )
