recently installed version 1.2.1 r5875 on my laptop but cant get it to work. it crashes the whole system down 2-5 minutes after launching the game.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

my specs are:
Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
2 GB RAM
Intel Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz
Intel HD Graphics 3000
DirectX 11

Maybe it's heat issues.
Tell us your cpu temp.

cpu temp is around 60°
For me the main problem was the RAM. 2 GB shared for System and PCSX2 are really low....Try download the last DEV version 1.3.0 here: http://goo.gl/FwfGLs maybe can help....

while using pcsx2
those temps look ok.

I still think it's a computer related problem because your sytem crashes.
If it was pcsx2 related, it would crash only pcsx2
Do you get a BSoD? What's the Stop error code if you do?
If you get a BSOD you can get a program called whocrashed and it will read the BSOD error for you and give an idea what the cause of the problem is as well.

no BSOD...it simply crashes
