What is the main difference between "Native" "2x" and "3x"

if I just run the pcsx2 as is without changing any settings, will it all run fine?
you can upscale to a certain degree the rendered resolution. (Similar to a HD remaster)
On native the resolution will be the same as for the ps2.

You can run pcsx2 without any changes (except necessary ones as plugin selection in the beginning).
Keep in mind that not all games are playable and some games require a strong system.

Native resolution is the resolution a ps2 plays at around 500x500. 2x native would be 1000x1000 because it is multiplied by 2. As you increase the res it can slow down your game if your GPU isn't powerful enough but If you have a decent gpu changing these settings will be fine
Internal resolutions is game dependent. There is a variety of possibilities. Somebody listed them once.
Can you seriously stop opening new threads? Stick to one please.

640x480 on NTSC games
512x448 PAL
I think there was even more(like ten different combinations).... I think this is one of the main problems of gs-plugins. That you never now when a line ends because many games have different resolutions.
^ Yeah. I've seen quite a few different ones. 512x384, 640x480, 640x448, 640x447.

Just to name a few.
What is a good setting for running it at 720p?
