Hi people I have one problem with GTA: San Andreas on PCSX2
That problem is a I´m missing beautiful Red Sky Effect which is on real PS2
but when I play this game on PCSX2, game doesn´t have that effect and that´s bad for me so I need to ask you how I can enable this Red Sky Effect on PCSX2
I´m using
PCSX2 1.3.0 SVN Revision 5927
GSDX 5932 (MSVC 16.00, SSE2) 0.1.16 (GSDX32-SSE2-r5932)

My configure is a
Adapter: AMD Radeon HD 7500 Series
Renderer: Direct3D11 (Hardware)
Interlacing: Auto
Resolution: Native
Shade Boost: Disabled
FXAA: DIsabled
FX Shader: Disabled
Texture Filtering: Full
Allow 8-Bit Textures: Enabled
Enable HW Hacks: Enabled (But I don´t using any of the HW Hacks)
Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled

There is a Screenshot from emulator: http://i.imgur.com/zlIqH9H.png

There is a Screenshot of original PS2 Version: http://i.imgur.com/hNfvm05.png

I´m also trying Software Mode in the GSDX plugin and that Red Sky Effect is there but problem there is that on screen is some kind of Shadows

There is a Screenshot from emulator (Software Mode): http://i.imgur.com/qdmkNyZ.png

Any tips ? I really want to have that effect on emulator so please help me Sad
Thank you for help Smile
The red sky effect causes problems in hardware mode, if you want a full on PS2 experience, press F9 to switch to software mode and all the effects will return Smile
As I say I tried Software Mode and that Red Sky Effect is there but with this I have problem with the shadows on the screen as you can on the screenshot there - http://i.imgur.com/qdmkNyZ.png
That isn't software mode, That only happens in hardware mode, i think skip draw 1 gets rid of it.
Really is doing on Software Mode for me when I set it in GSdx plugin or if I push F9 button doing that if I am in Hardware Mode doesn´t doing that but I don´t have Red Sky Effect Sad
Sorry, my apologies, i thought it didn't do it in software, but it does, you're right.

Im afraid that's your choices at the moment, Weird reflection but red sky, or no red sky but no reflection either.

with gta-sanandreas we need original ps2 effect like gta-vice city's trails..
http://gtaforums.com/topic/535831-relvca...ty-trails/
seems like pcsx2 team wont/cant fix software bug...
So I need to wait when is fixed that reflection bug in Software Mode in some new SVN revision ?
yep, although it will be GIT rather than SVN, we no longer use SVN.

I would recommend you file a bug report under the bug report forum, as it happens in software mode too it is a genuine bug.
