Yeah tell me about it. They release updates twice a month or so and I have to keep it up to date...
1.24 is a higher version than 1.9

Not sure how... but it is.

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Release_notes/1.9
Yes it is. But the plugin hasn't been updated since 2008, so at the time 1.9+ meant 1.91,1.92 etc. There has been almost 2 major breaking versions since then....
BTW: In MW 1.18 and above, a special page "PasswordReset" exists which overrides the special page of this extension. This means this extension no longer works from 1.18 on. This extension however provides more functionality than in core, so a solution should be found (either merge this functionality with core, or rename one of the two special pages).

Apparently it got merged in core. Password reset sends you an email with the new password so..yeah Tongue
Oh well, I tried. Tongue2
I'm going to ask you for feedback for the "Setting up Windows Version" guide:
http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/User:DoctorMuerte/test1

Suggestions?
Things to be changed?

About the images, I'm gonna test placing them on other locations.

Can I make a template for the "tips" and "Warning" sections of my guide proposal?
Can be usefull when writing guides.

Of course you can! What may keep you from doing this?
My suggestion: try using "float: right; clear: right;" or "float: left; clear: left;" styles with tip/warnings so they would look more natural.

And btw you're doing a GREAT job with the guide! It's already HUGE and very detailed!

'Wiki' can be changed to whatever too.

[Edit]
Updated this post to contain all the logos so far.

They all look very nice. Definitely better than the current one (or maybe I just got tired of it overtime). I'd try the last one though, the first has a bit too busy background imo and the 2nd and the 3rd has an ever-so-slight feeling that something is missing.

I promise I'll read the guide carefully later today or tomorrow so I'll have something to say. At a glance it looks very detailed and it also looks that the images are too big (esp. for small monitors). On the other hand if you'll scale down images the guide would become harder to use. So I do not suggest anything here, I just state the fact.
Apart from making them floaty, you may also want to try a different background for hints and warnings (try the old and tired light-blue color for instance). I don't know how it would look but I guess they need some means to stand out.
Lastly such a big guide may be split into three or more parts linking them together from the first page. Right now it may be a bit hard to swallow when the Internet is not so fast. It's not a suggestion either just a thought.
While it's not DIRECTLY related to this, the PCSX2 article on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCSX2 ) is flagged as needing copyediting. Furthermore, there is a lot of information in there that isn't relevant(to a Wikipedia article).

Actually the article is a bit of a mess. I intend to fix it up over the next few days.
Alright: About the tips, please take a look at this: http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/User:DoctorMuerte border can be different, other backgounds can be set, etc.

After we decide that I can try different float settings to show to you.

I think it is important to select a color that later can match other colors of the page, for better consistency, for instance the blue that separates the PAL and NTSCS versions of the infobox, but also to be used later for the new main page.
