PCSX2 newbie here. I'm running it on my i5 Windows 8 laptop and it's working ok so far. I tried running Persona 4 and the framerate drops to around 30fps at times. What's causing this? How can I ensure that it runs at a constant 60?
Also, any tips to make PCSX2 less taxing on my laptop's battery?

I read that maybe I should try turning speedhacks to fix the framerate issues so I'll try that when I get home.
Still, do you have tips to minimize the power requirements of the PCSX2 so it won't drain my laptop battery that fast?
Other than having your laptop plugged in, you won't fix the battery drain
That cpu is too slow for pcsx2.
Ultrabooks arent made for cpu intensive tasks.
