Im trying to play Shadow of the Colossus and Kingdom hearts using the latest Version (1.2.1) Ive tried numerous options and different things but every time i boot up Shadow of the Colossus my %'s at the top of the screen go to EE 99%, GS 55-60%. and the game instantly drops to 20 fps and the sound gets all distorted and slow.

The same type of thing happened during the intro of Kingdom Hearts.

Below is my Computer Spec

I feel like my PC should be able to run these games fine, but sadly not.
Any help would be really appreciative

taht's not surprising.
your CPU is unfortunately kinda weak for single threaded applications (codenickname : "faildozer")
set Vu cycle stealing to 2 for Sotc and lower ee cycle rate.
Experiment enabling/disabling MTVU hack too. It may slow the game down on some rigs

About KH, I imagine you"re talking about the sunset scene. Press F9 to go to software mode while this scene? it may be better.

And of course, If you can, overclock this CPU. that will help greatly

Ok so Shadow of the colossus works fine until i actually get in game now, and then its back to choppy sound, very low fps etc. I guess my CPU is bad for emulating, so thanks for the help but looks like i wont be playing SotC

yep.
it's one of those demanding games.
better keep playing it on your PS2 for now
