Using any of the hardware modes the game displays a black screen in-game, though it works fine in the garage, menus, etc. Software mode (for D3D9 and 11 that I know of) works, but it's not optimal and it always crashes after several minutes.
does it crash after a large memory dump ?

The 4GB patch seems to have helped the stability.
Edit: Never mind, just a placebo I guess. It still crashes after some time.
