Full Version: The emulator crashes upon start!

Hi guys,
I have the emulator installed successfully with MS Visual C++ Redist on (Acer 4738G - Windows 7 - Intel® Core i5 - CPU 480M @ 2.67GHz - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Graphics 512 MB) with Direct3D enabled, but everytime I run the emulator it carshes and says "pcsx2-r5875.exe has stopped working" and these are the details listed under (problem signature):

Although, I installed it on a slower Acer and ran fine. Any help would be appreciated Smile

under pcsx2>langs delete the ar_SA folder.
Delete pcsx2\langs\ar and pcsx2\lang\ar_sa

I don't know about you guys, some kind of pros Biggrin , anyway you made my day with this quick and super fix. Thank you so much and if you guys "have time" to light me in a few words, why exactly this fix?

There's something wrong in Arabian & Saudia Arabian Gui translations since 1.2.1.
Since your system is probably set to Saudi Arabian language by default, pcsx2 loads the appropriate GUI ... and crashes.

Yep, crashes due to a buffer overflow.
I think it's a wierd issue Blink , however, thanks again for your time Smile
