im just meaning that spending the what, $100 for vista, isnt worth the slight performance increase when win7 will be out shortly (within the next year i bet)
so if you want to use dx10 but dont own a vista disc, then go without it until win7 comes out then get that. im using the win7 beta, and trust me, its vista 1.5, its all the good things of vista without the main problems and some nice extra's.
