It works perfectly and smoothly, I play Witcher 1 with the program. But: After approximately 30 minutes, every time my controls switch drastically. And with Switch I don't mean that the profile changes, but my controls from mouse and keyboard won't work properly anymore.

What happens:
- I can't write anything anymore with my keyboard, pressing letters and numbers will lead to no reaction
- Pressing "ESC" either acts as if I hit the windows key, or as if I hit "Alt + Tab" and switches through my opened apps.
- Clicking a link in a browser with my left mouse button downloads the links adress as *.htm file, instead of opening it.

Mostly I have to restart the PC to regain the normal controls. Last time I had the issue all I had to do was quit DS4 Windows to regain them. But that was just once enough.

Anyone any idea? I already checked "Hide DS4 Controller" in the preferences, but that wasn't the problem. Besides the 30 Minutes everything runs perfectly...
Does this happen with any other game? Tried scanning your computer for malware? It doesn't sound like a problem with DS4Windows that I've heard before. Can you try InputMapper https://inputmapper.com/ and see if it happens to that too?
I will try Inputmapper on sunday and report here then. Thanks ^^

Edit: I could find some time today already and the problem is solved. No problems with Inputmapper, so I will stick to that program. Thx ^^
Found a DS4Windows github fork with fixed exclusive mode for Windows 10 x64 1607 AU. Compiled it with Visual Studio 2015 and it works excellent! No need for registry hacks or resetting gamepad manually.

Hi. I bought a PS4 controller last week but I'm having some issues. I'll say in advance I have scp toolkit installed for my ps3 controllers. Besides my controller bluetooth dongle, I also have 2 other bluetooth dongles on my pc, one for a keyboard and one for a mouse.

I'm not sure if it matters or not but the controller dongle was set up for the scp toolkit. Now, when I try to add my ps4 controller, my controller always pairs with one of the other bluetooths (I just unplugged the controller dongle and the PS4 controller was still able to be detected by DS4windows). This is causing some issues, disconnects from the bluetooth/latency, basically unplayable.

Is there an easy way I can force the controller to pair with my dongle I use for my ps3 controllers?
Hey guys a little help here.

I'm using Windows10, didn't have any issues until like this week.

With all the clients (origin, steam, uplay) closed and none game opened, it is still telling me "Couldn't connect to..."

I'm using micro usb and tried a couple of ports.

Already tried to reinstall the drivers and booting the pc only having DS4W opened.

Any ideas?

Nice find! It works great. Seamlessly makes it work like it used to without any other extra work. I guess you found it here https://github.com/Jays2Kings/DS4Windows/issues/142

Go to this thread for ScpToolkit issues http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-ScpToolki...r-Reloaded or https://github.com/nefarius/ScpToolkit

Not sure if you want to use scptoolkit or ds4windows with that dedicated controller bluetooth dongle. Scptoolkit uses special bluetooth drivers and if I remember correctly is not compatible with DS4Windows. So you will have to use Scptoolkit for both DS3 and DS4 controllers.

Of course you will need to unpair your DS4 from the other dongles first then disable them while you pair it with the dedicated controller one. Latency/disconnects will always be an issue when you have that many bluetooth devices causing interference.

You can also try the InputMapper 2.0 beta which should support both DS3 and DS4. Here's a thread on the IM forums with a kinda similar problem you have https://inputmapper.com/forum/inputmappe...ualshock-3.

These new wired drivers (maybe wireless eventually) https://github.com/nefarius/FireShock by nefarius that will support both DS3/DS4 looks promising. Obviously still early and no installers/binaries. Follow his twitter @CNefarius for updates.
Hey guys a quick question, I set the PS button to check battery life and for the action to show via notification. But when I press the PS button, I don't see any notification appearing anywhere on my screen.

Am I missing something? Or is it supposed to appear somewhere else like in a specific game or something?

The lightbar does show the battery level though if I set it to via lightbar.

I'm on Win 10 by the way, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It pops out from the bottom right of the screen or Action Center sidebar. Make sure you have "Show Notifications" set to "All" in DS4Windows Settings. Also check to see if you have notifications turned on in Windows. Quick way to the windows notification settings is to right click the taskbar clock and choose settings from the menu.
In other news, someone made a fork to make DS4Windows work with the Sony DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adapter. So for $25 you can get headphone jack to work yay...

Another fork from that reddit post:

Here is the the previously mentioned fork that has the Hide DS4 exclusive mode fix baked in case people don't like to read old stuff:
