You would think with a title like that I am talking about my pcsx2 but in fact I am talking about my imgburn speed. its ripping off the iso from my ps2 .hack//GU vol1 and 2 so fast that the iso is rendered unusable. It uses a BDROM and no matter what I do I can't limit it to 16x or lower but in fact it pushes for 50x+.

Any ideas of what I can do.
You mean you are using a BD drive to rip and imgburn ignores your speed setting?
Yes and as a result the iso is coming out unusable and I tested the disc, it works fine.
Hmm. This is an interesting issue. I'm not sure what to tell you.

Maybe try another program?
Which program would you recommend as I only have ever used imgburn for all my ripping and burning needs?
Yeah, I only use IMGBURN too.

I guess google is your friend here.

Do you have another drive or another computer you could rip ISO on and transfer?
I do have my main computer but I forgot the last time I was in it to plug the power into the dvd drive and its now downloading some more or less important stuff so I don't really want to open it for now.

So I guess I will have to google.

Question I heard that BDROM drives on laptops can't burn but would that also effect the ability to rip off iso's?
Whether or not the drive can burn would not affect it's ability to rip ISOs

Can you show a screenshot of your imgburn settings?
My LG BDROM rips games just fine.
I see now where I went wrong I was ripping a mounted image of SQL server. I wasn't even touching my game

I have tried these settings a few others like vise versa and such.
