im having trouble getting this working. i had the game working just fine about a week ago, with svn 1888. now with svn 2890 the game crashes towards the end of the intro, when the dormin warns you about a high price for killing the collosi.

i tried going back to svn 1888 and that one has also decided to break on me. it seems to just get stuck when i hit start new game. it was definitely working (btw the offset problem is still there in both versions for me, even using the ini settings suggested on page 15 of this thread)

ive tried changing every config setting i can think of, nothing seems to work. not even software mode with all hacks turned off and cpu set to high levels. anyone have this issue? or have any idea what could be changed?

here is the crash error i get in 2890:

Try to reinstall DirectX, VC Redistributable and video drivers... Something got broken actually, and it's not PCSX2...
I've just checked the game works fine in the latest PCSX2+GSDX...
thanks that solved the problem!!

i even got the offset problem fixed, though i had to use native resolution instead of my usual 1920X1080.

Then google again Tongue or try youtube. Lots of people post videos there with links to new compiled versions. Unfortunately we cannot give you any links here. Closedeyes
Well, that really are enough "hints" now. So no more questions on this, k?
Why is it so that in the most up to date bulids (2994) I cannot use my own modified plugins ? Pcsx2 just won't recognize them, they are absent from the list. Is this something intentional ?
No, you're missing dependencies. And that is something we don't support.
Also highly off topic.
