My specs:

cpu: amd FX-8300
ram 4gigs of ddr3 memory
gpu: msi r9 270

system: win 7 ultimate

I can get tremendous ammounts of fps, but the game runs in slow down, and when I limit fps (which worked on my previous pc to run mk komplete edition) it still runs slow in that fps.

Can someone here please help me? I am at my wit´s end about this...

EDIT: I am trying to run soul calibur 3
Please post a screenshot of all of your pcsx2 settings.
You'll need to oc for soul calibur 3. That gane is brutal
Needs ~4.3 on Vishera chips.

Is SC3 emulation standart of pcsx2 demand on pc, or is it rather an exception?

Also, I have heard of people with dual cores running pcsx2 games on 60 fps, so how come my 8 core cant do the same?

With regards to the settings, Just normal default settings, no AA, dx9hw and running in native resolution.

EDIT: meh, I am such a moron for getting 8 core, should have known better...
Pcsx2 uses a max of 3 cores. Also, soul calibur is one of the most demanding ps2 games to emulate.
Like I said, it needs 4.3Ghz + on Vishera. I have personally tested it as such.

I see, my cpu can only run at 4.1 per core on turbo. Shame really. Anyways, will it cut twin snakes and FFX?

Why cant you overclock.

Not sure about Twin snakes, but FFX will be fine

Well, You are right, I could prolly try to oc...

I am wondering how far I could push it on stock fan, I was thinking of 400Mhz per core, but I am nor really sure it will hold up...

I remember When I tried to OC my old athlon II dual core to 4900, it started spewing all kinds of BSODs, hence why am I reluctant to do so.

Anyways, thanks for helping me out so far guys.
