actually it is 0.1.16 . I have added it in the attachment, try placing that in the plugins folder and try using that in the GS tab at plugin selector and check whether you can reproduce the error (or) not.

PS: yeah, probably a matter of updating your directx. download the file which jesalvein provided earlier and install it.

I was already using 0.1.16, it came with pcsx2, but i tried that plugin anyway and got the same crash when using directx.

Which is weird since this redist version won't tell you if dx is already up to date...
Hence your weird error message (you get this one only with the web installer)

Sorry i should clarify, that directx install does work, but it doesn't prevent the crash.

did you set spu2-x to portaudio ?
