So I just tried downloading an emulator for the first time. Everything is working fine (video, audio) but I cant get my keyboard or mouse to work. It says "There is no memory card active continue?" and there is a Yes No thing at the bottom. I cant click Yes or No and not a single button on my keyboard works. Do i Need to use a controller (I will get one eventually but right now I just want to play a game from the good ol days. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Config/controler/plugin then pad1, and you configure the pad.
Ex: click on "square" and press the button you want, now its square in game.

You cant use your mouse in game except if you bind your mouse button to a pad button in the plugin
