yeah, sure. but make sure that your motherboard supports this processor and your PSU can handle the extra load of the processor. it will benefit on pcsx2 very well because of it's high single thread performance. Smile
i would have to get a am3 motherboard and i have a 900watt psu
don't bother. Just get a decent intel chip. They are still faster and produce less heat
i dont have a intel board a amd board i have so a intel board and a intel processor still would have to pay out

257 pound total running a nice asus board ddr3 i was expecting bout 250 to 260 pound anyway
If you can afford an Intel processor with greater than 1600 STP rating and get an supported motherboard it would also be worth it because of it's efficiency, though, get the AMD if you use applications which take use of multiple threads.
