Just redump your original PS2 DVD like you did the first time (how did you do it, btw ? using imgburn or the internal Mac Os Utility ?) and you should be good to go.

Well, there's another part of the issue, don't have the PS2 anymore.
I do technically still physically own the RE4 dvd, but it's useless to me. I got struck with nostalgia after digging through some stuff (recently moved) and found the dvd, wanted to play it again.
I downloaded the ISO, I figured it was possible their ISO was the problem (after our earlier discussion). I just downloaded it from a different website & it's literally the exact same image down to the byte. They both play & both freeze at the same point. In fact, I can use save states from the old ISO on the new ISO I just DL'ed.
I doubt 2 different websites would have the same playable, but unfinishable ISOs.
If you don't have a PS2 and downloaded the ISO then you can't get support.
