my PS2 is in a way worse condition right now , anyway that is one of the benefits of Emulation. upscaling and save states are even more of a plus

May I know which settings you are using? I want to play this game as well but I just can't get it to work propably... The game is lagging and the sound isnt good as well. My laptop has got similar specs to yours, so i don't think that's the problem.
