Hello all,

I am looking for some patch codes for Final Fantasy X-2 (U).

I notice there are some here, but there is no CRC so I don't know what to name the .pnach file to get them to work (unless I'm mistaken and that's not required, in that case I'm doin' it wrong).

Besides the ones already available here, I am looking for a code to earn more AP/JP to max out the jobs quickly.

^Run your game and check PCSX2 log window, you'll find a line "Game CRC = 0x*number here*, the filename should be then *that number*.pnach without 0x as that just points that the number is in hexadecimal format. You can create an empty .txt file to put codes there then rename it, just make sure windows doesn't hide known file extensions soo it doesn't hide .txt couse if you leave it it'll not work.

If you have any problems with that or you could also use PCSX2CE althrough that's a formating tool, if you convert already formated cheat it'll not change and then you can just paste your game CRC there, game title and point the cheats directory in pcsx2 and it'll create .pnach with a press of a button.

Got it, used the log window method, thanks. Anyone know of a code for getting more AP per turn? These are the Action Replay codes I found that I'd like, can anyone convert these?

Look for a program called Omniconvert. That will convert any format to any other format.

Omniconvert+PCSX2CE = 10 seconds for switching between 2 window to copy&paste:
Surely converted fine, soo if they doesn't work, you found codes for different game version.

Anyway it's smart to get those two programs for all those codes flying over the net and much less time than waiting for others to convert;P.

The first code (Max AP after battle) crashes the emulator. The second one freezes the game. Here's what's in the log when the second code (Learn skills quickly) is activated.

^They must be for different game version or the original codes were broken to begin with(they do patch alot of adresses soo crash is completely natural behaviour of using code not ment for exactly your game version), as the code converted nicely to a multi-line which is working normally in pcsx2.

Hrm, the codes I looked up are for the NTSC version, and I ripped the ISO myself from my own disc, also the NTSC version.

I did find some other codes meant for Gameshark, but when I put them into Omniconvert and select the output as Unencrypted/RAW, the output is exactly the same. Is that normal?

Hello. I've tried using the Cheat Editor from another thread, but couldn't save my progress due to not having the right permission, and I tried everything to change the permission to no avail. I even tried copying the output, pasted it on my notepad, placed the file on the cheat folder, but still no success. If anyone can create a pnach file with these cheats, I'll be very happy.

I removed the "unlock all normal classes" cheat. To make it easier to anyone kind enough to make a pnach file for these cheats. XD
