[attachment=58042 Wrote:DarkTron pid='492094' dateline='1447721907']Downloaded the TH2 update on Windows 10 on Friday, and am unable to install DS3 drivers with Scp. Was working perfectly the day before. I've included the log of the ScpDriver, as well as the Debug Toolkit from your version of the program. Any suggestions on what to do?

Debug Toolkit
ScpDriver Log
Hi, im new here.

So first, i was using version from Scarlet on my windows 8.1. Everything worked good. My DS3 on cable + DS3 via bluetooth.
Now, i have windows 10 (updated build 1511), and i'm using this ScpToolkit from nefarius (ScpToolkit v1.6.126.15319). I'm trying this with original DS3 and fake one. Both have the same issue.

DS3 with cable is working perfectly, but when i disconnect it, it starts blinking, when it stop, i press PS button and it connects with bluetooth, and scp server is showing BT full , so it' connected, there is even connection sound in windows.

There is SCP server connected image

but my DS3 doesn't blink or anything, so there is no red light. Buttons are not working, but PS button is, and it launches this game menu in windows 10..

in control panel -> it shows there is no button pressed, but on USB it works all.

I tried -> reinstall drivers / SCP Toolkit
-> full uninstall hardware (gamepad + BT dongle)
-> changing to support fake DS3 (this feature is not in new version settings, i think it recognizes fake DS3 and uses different settings)
-> disabling / enabling Secure simple paring

My BT dongle is in supported list, and it worked before, so i think it should be good to use.
I don't know what else should I try.

Thanks for making this software and thanks for any answers or ideas on why is my Bluetooth not pairing correctly Sad.

EDIT: original DS3 works good on usb, but on BT , it says "couldn't get connection handle" , and BTH 000000000 None
Here's something I've noticed.

I play DCUO Online and have my PS3 (nearly new) Controller (Sony Official bought from Walmart brand new) connected via Rocketfish Bluetooth dongle.  Up until recently, I have not had any issues wireless or wired with the controller.  (I am an Electrical Technician and Technology Expert and Software programmer for the company I work for.)

Recently (not sure if this is due to a Windows 10 update or not) during heavy fights in DCUO (I'm a tank role so I am in the middle of the action all the time) where I am mashing buttons to complete combos to stay alive, my controller will not only disconnect, but shut OFF and then when I press the PS button to reconnect it, it can't find the dongle anymore.

My quick fix is to plug the controller in (while my character is standing there getting a beating) and then the controller connects.  BUT, during it being connected via wire, it will occasionally disconnect and reconnect (this is tolerable except that it interrupts my combos which I need to complete fully to get the full effects and benefits from namely heals and power recovery not just damage out).

My next step is to solder a USB cable directly to the controller motherboard and make my DS3 a wired controller unless someone on here can shed some light on if this is an issue with the software dropping out due to too many commands being sent to it.

System Specs:

Windows 10 Pro
AMD Phenom II x3 720 3.30 Ghz per core
ECS Black Series a780gm-a Motherboard
8GB Ram
Primary Drive: Intel SSD 128GB
Secondary Storage: 4TB NAS quality / certified SATA Drives (4 - 1 TB drives)
ATI HD R7 260x Dual Dissipation XFX series with 2GB DDR5

All drivers are updated. (Including SCP I just updated it last night to this version I was using one from 2012 prior to last night... still no change in behavior)

Is there a way to see communication stress or communication stress with CPU Load comparison to see if during the game combat (and it isn't everywhere, actually during normal enemy fights [I've grouped up 8 guys at a time] nothing like this happens, but during boss fights is when this strange thing occurs.)

Just to reiterate... this only occurs during FINAL boss fights... sub bosses and normal enemies (up to 8 simultaneously) I don't have an issue with the controller.

This has not ever happened in any other game... I play Star Trek Online with my PS3 controller and been in heavy fights and with 4 10slot (40 combinations of buttons) trays bound to the controller, I am pressing nearly every combination of buttons simultaneously in a frenzy for hours and have not had it drop out.

DCUO only has two rows of 4 powerslots (Left shift and action buttons, Right Shift and Action buttons, then the normal action button actions).

My system does not overheat or even come close, nor am I even touching my RAM limit during gameplay.

Swap is in SSD so anything that gets paged is a non-issue.

Other than the possibility of the USB port the dongle is on going bad (but it works 100% of the time anywhere else I use the controller) or the controller going bad (but it works 100% of the time anywhere else I use the controller), the only thing I can think of is:

A. DCUO is sending some type of forcefeedback command that the SCP Server /controller is inadvertently mistaking for a PS3 system shut the controller off command (see console -> turn off controller)

B. The SCP server is getting flooded with input commands and eventually just gets out of sync and resets the connection [then forgets it can pair] with the controller.

C. A combination of both

I should also point out that I've been using SCP since 2012 when I switched from MotioninJoy.

Controller software should have a checkbox to say 'Ignore shut off commands' so you have to manually shut of or disconnect the controller (outside of the timer that can be set to shut it off due to inactivity.)
1). Not 100% sure what to do with those admin files, any pointers?

2). The service has appeared to have stopped, and when I try to start it in Services on W10, I get the following message

"Windows could not start the SCP DS3 Service service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency group or service failed."

All dependencies are installed, but the listings say this driver has no dependencies.

I am using Scarlet's version of SCP for this, so the question is how do I make the error go away?
Guys, I'm having an issue with the SCP Toolkit using the USB charging cable for my Sony DualShock 3 controller for those times when my battery is almost drained and I want to continue playing. After a few minutes, my controller stops responding instead of acting like a corded controller when the USB charging cable is plugged into it. I'll hear the plug and play disconnection chime followed by the controller no longer working. A single red LED continues to burn. My old wireless Xbox 360 controller continued to work if the battery was drained and I plugged the USB charging cable from my PC into it. Can this be done with the Sony DualShock 3 and SCP Toolkit?
I have a problem , I have 2 dualchocks 3 that the program detects them as false , and because of that not I can use through my bluetooth dongle because when I disconnect the USB cable , connect the dongle but the controls do not vibrate .

I tried with sixaxis he had saved and the program recognizes as perfectly genuine, and connects seamlessly to bluetooth dongle , but no vibration function .

2 dualshock are 100% original , so that is not the problem .

Can someone help me out? Sorry for my bad English , I use google translator.
Hi guys/Nefarius!
I've been using wrapper by Scarlet.Crush over a year with my original DS3 controller with no problems to play Fifa. But now, to play with my brother -in-law Ive intalled wrapper created by Nefarius to be able to use both official DS3 and DS4 pads, also bought Asus usb-bt400 dongle.

Maybe installation didn't went well or something in setting i would need to adjust, but please help me get it work until weekend!

Im attaching zip file from debug info collector.

When disconnecting from usb cable DS4 pairs with specific sound, but L1+R1+PS doesn't work to disconnect. DS3 doesn't work at all.

Help me please!

Thanks for great job. I've used this program on my Windows 10, but downgraded it to Windows 7 for some reason a while ago. When I trying to install Toolkit (latest version in the link from the beginning of this thread) my system just stops to respond. Always. Hard reset helps, but hell... And it seems some drivers are not installed correctly after this.

Any ideas?

Upd. Strange... now it's all normal. I just installed latest drivers for X-BOX360 (in Windows 10 there's always new drivers for gamepad, but in Windows 7 are not). Maybe this is the reason?

As stated in the installation tutorial the Xbox Driver Package is mandatory to install on Windows 7!
(11-17-2015, 03:45 AM)mgreig Wrote: [ -> ]I've been search and reading through this forum as well as the GitHub repository and while I 'm pretty sure there's a relatively simple resolution to my problem - I haven't been able to find it.

PROBLEM:
My generic PS3 adapter works great when connected via USB cable but is not recognized (will not pair?) with my Bluetooth Dongle

SITUATION:
1.  Clean Win10 Install (done this twice)
2.  Most recent, stable release downloaded and installed - ScpToolkit v1.6.126.15319 from https://github.com/nefarius/ScpServer/releases
3.  Using known good Asus USB-BT211 v2.1+EDR Bluetooth Dongle - USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002&REV_0001
4.  Using "CECHZC2U" controller, the "BigBen BB4401 PS3PADRFLX (3rd Party Controller)" - USB\VID_054C&PID_0268&REV_0100

TESTS:
1.  Installation of ScpServer went off without error
2.  Controller is recognized without any issue when connected via USB
3.  Multiple reboots & tried deleting the "libusbK USB Devices" (both gamepad & bluetooth adapater) and the Xbox 360 Controller - no joy after a reboot when Win10 reinstalled the devices

RESOLUTION IDEAS:
1.  I read something in the many, many pages of responses about a setting for generic vs genuine controllers but can't figure out where to flip that flag if need be.  Maybe this was something only present in the prior version or ?
2.  I also read about adding a HardwareId line to the ScpControl.ini file so I modified the file as follows:
            [Bluetooth Dongles]
; GUID to identify supported bluetooth dongles
; DO NOT CHANGE unless you know what you are doing!
            DeviceGuid = {2F87C733-60E0-4355-8515-95D6978418B2}
            HardwareId = USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002
- I since deleted the "HardwareId = USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002" line as I found that the DeviceGuid lists the correct HardwareId number after my registry search so I'm assuming that the DeviceGuid now supersedes with prior implicit HardwareId listing in the ScpControl.ini file.

Help?

You controller is fake and currently not supported over Bluetooth, sorry Sad
