Is there a way to disable the check for update popup? It's pretty annoying having to close it every time I boot my pc.
Hey all! I've gotten scptoolkit installed but for some reason I cannot map any buttons in the padconfig menu. Oddly enough, I can map and test the vibration function. I'm using the Dual Shock 3 native mode so that I can play MGS2 with pressure buttons.

I've attached an image showing some config info as well as some input info.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Found the solution. I hit the reset button on the back of my DS3 controller and then reinstalled the scp drivers. Hope this helps someone.
I keep finding that whenever I connect my DS3 controller to my PC it auto assigns it to controller 2 - within the SCP monitor or stand-alone server it will show up as controller 1, but in all games and on the controller LEDs it shows as controller 2, and therefore doesn't work in many games.

In the zip attached, I've only connected 2  controllers, but 3 XBOX controllers show up; any idea how to solve this?

Edit: Remnants of Kinoni were left over, so it was picking that up as the "first" controller. Removed the left over parts and works perfectly

If you have access to a startup manager/ Autorun Manager, then you can stop the SCP Tool from running it's notification .exe on boot.

I personally use 'Revo Uninstaller Pro'.

I did that already, but it keeps popping up. I think that only disables the tray notifications.
So I messed up. I think I uninstalled my xbox 360 drivers on my windows 10 computer and I got the drivers back from microsofts website for windows 7 but the toolkit never sees it as a xbox 360 controller anymore it always shows ps3 controller installed. I wanna hopefully fix this if there is a way for me to do it.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I've deleted the update .exe from Program Files and haven't seen it since.

Oh, good idea. Renaming it should do the trick as well, I'm gonna do that and see if I get some error popup the next time it tries to run it.

I also noticed that the ScpUpdater.ini config file has a "CheckFrequency" value set to "2", so maybe tweaking that might enable less frequent update checks. I'm not really sure what to put there, though.
