So, im pretty new to the PS2 emulation scene, and i was wondering, what could be bottlenecking my performance while im playing this game

Note: i havent tested any other games yet, as my SSD is small.

I was playing WA 5 and i was getting a stable 60 fps in small places, 50-55 in Fligaia and 30-35 in battle. Im not sure what could be causing this substantial performance drop, as my EE sits around 65% in battle, and my GS hovers 48-55%
Is there any specific reason why i could be losing performance? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

Thank You.
No Problem!

Better post the emulog.txt after you loaded the game...
what do the ee% & gs% say when you disable speedhacks ?
Turned off speedhacks, in combat EE hits around 70-85%, GS is around 30-50, mostly sitting around 38-40
FPS still around 35-40%

Your CPU is suffering a bit, but you should get better results.

tried D3D11 hardware mode instead of D3D9 ?
