Sooo i was reading configuartion guide for 1.2.1 and ill quote it below

"from slowest to fastest: SSE2, SSSE3, SSE4.1, AVX and AVX2. The new AVX and AVX2 instructions give a minor speed up only with the software renderers of GSdx and not the hardware ones."


Does this mean i should use SSE4.1? if im using hardware mode?
kinda seems senseless to selecr AVX2 if im using Direct3D11 Hardware mode

You may need software mode for some games. And there are games that automatically switch to software mode for FMVs. If your CPU supports AVX2 it won't hurt you in any way.
