I searched in my game TRAINMDL.DAT but I can not in any way to open this file. These are files with models but how do I open it?
What do you mean by 'open'? You can for example try a text editor.
I do not mean text editor. As for the word processor model so I will not do anything. I want to preview the models file.
If you want to access the models then you need to extract it from that .dat file most likely.

We don't know what game it is, so it's not even known if there's a tool for it.
Game is X-treme Express (SLES-50998). ........................
No sharing model files like that on public forum. It would be a form of copyright infringement so please don't.
Ok ok but what about my problem?
I'm not going to pretend to know how to do this or this is even correct but this is what I got when I googled extracting models from a dat file

Most games use unique .dat files and require a unique tool to decrypt the .dat files. This probably won't work.

On that note, does modding games even work at all on PCSX2?

Well I mean if you replace the models in the file with a model in the same format PCSX2 should read exactly the same shouldn't it?
