Here are my specs:

iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)

Processor: 3.4GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16GB 1333MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB

I wanted to play Star Wars Battlefront II, very slow FPS. So then I scraped that and I played DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, couldn't play at full FPS either. Are my system requirements not meant for PS2 emulators? Or is it just misconfiguration of the settings on my part?
if using the mac port of pcsx2->your system doesn't meet pcsx2 requirements
if using the Wineskin port of pcsx2->probably a misconfiguration
if using the windows version on bootcamp->definitely a misconfiguration
I'm actually using PCSX2-CE
acan you please post the emulog.txt as well as all of your pcsx2 settings ?

I hope I did this right...

It's a Wineskin version of PCSX2-CE
don't forget gsdx settings

I switched it to Direct3D9 (Software) from (Hardware) and saw minuscule improvement. Still not enough for normal gameplay.

EDIT: Heres the log while running DBZ BT 3 game.
There's never anything wrong with the title screen. In fact it runs too fast at 77FPS. However, when I let the demo fight play, it shoots down to 28-31 FPS and if it gets too busy, 18-20FPS.
weird.
that said, I know very little about how the Mac ports (wineskin/non wineskin versions) work.
you'll have to wait for someone who's interested in Mac...
Well, thanks for trying. It's perplexing to me that my 2011 iMac can't smoothly run a game released in 2007 that ran on a system released on March of 2000.
