Hello, Friends. Thank you for your patience as I work through this.
I'm currently running Win 8.1. I've downloaded PCSX2 1.2.1 successfully. I'm trying to play my favored FXII (I can post pictures if you want proof I own it myself). I'm having an issue where as soon as I select the ISO (extracted via a .7z file from Emuparadise using 7zip), the game begins to load starting with the PS2 load-in screen as usual, but instead of starting the game as it should, it goes straight to what I know as the Browser window, showing the image of a game CD under the two Memory Cards I've already configured.
Reading what little I could find over the last 2 hours has shown that it's like a CDVD configuration issue, but none of the suggestions I've read have seemed to solve it. ANy new suggestions come up? Any more information you need from me? I'm all ears.
