I take a dump from my collection. This dump used to suffer of the red striped. Engine is likely the same.
It is a different engine, but yeh, similar issues, should be fixed with OGL.

The stripes are gone with OGL and HWdepth, but the fog is an issue though. I checked again and it seems to only affect the lower half of the screen.

That had no effect, with or without CRC.
