i am playing xenosage 1 i am at the point where i just beat the mech unit i start to go in the door behind them and i get half way into the room and the game freeze i have try it a number of time with different setting and it still does it if you can help thanks

Back on topic, could you provide a screenshot of all of your PCSX2 settings and your emulog when you reproduce the issue ?
I never had a complete lock playing Xenosaga 1 but I did have some intermittent freeze ups that went away fairly fast.
I fixed it by setting both speedhacks to 0
