I have been trying to fiddle with the pcsx2 settings to get my sly cooper games to work better but no matter what settings i use the game is slow motion in most parts of the game and i dont know if its because of my specs or if i am doing something wrong, So does anybody know any kind of optimal fix to this problem?

my specs:AMD FX-6300 OC'd to 4.3ghz with Arctic Freezer A11 cooling
Sapphire Radeon R9 280
16GB BALLISTIX SPORT 1600MHz
Corsair VS650
ASUS m5a97 r2.0
I'd say your CPU is the cluprit.
What do the ee% & gs% say when it's slow ?

EE is about 60-80% GS is 90-100%
EE was at this current screenshot at absolute highest it has been
Your CPU is clearly struggling.
try tinkering a bit with speedhacks (set ee cycle rate to 1, check all recommended speedhacks)

As i said before i have been fiddling with everything and trying every combination of speedhacks and ee and vu cyclerate with no result

And the only reason i OC'd my cpu was to squeeze every single bit of it for pcsx2 emulating with no result Laugh
I guess your CPU's STR is too low, then.
It's basically around 1400. with your OC, it should be around 1500, maybe 1550.
Sly Games would require an STR around 1800-2000.
I guess you'll have to play them on your PS2 console for now...

aww fuk
sly games are very intensive on the draw call number.

Bad CPU + bad GPU driver == low performance.
gregory, could this be due to the minimums required to redraw the screen? Doesnt the nvidia have a much lower threshold than the amd chipsets right now (driver wise?)
