As the thread subject suggests I have a black screen whenever I play Dragon Quest 8. Everytime I go to start the game I get a black screen I have 60 FPS and some other things ticking. So far this is the only game that does this. FFXII works perfectly fine for me. Any suggestions on what to do? Or even how to configure the emulator to work with this game?
What are your pcsx2 and gsdx settings .

I have my pcsx2 settings set to preset 2.
My gsdx settings Adapter is set to Intel ® HD Graphics 5500
Renderer Direct3D11 (Software)
Interlacing is set to Auto
All other settings under gsdx are greyed out.
Which PCSX2 version are you using?

Version 1.4.0 I believe
Are your (Config ->) Emulation Settings set to a preset(lower left corner of the window) or are you using non-default settings like enhanced speedhacks?
