I tried to convert to iso but failed. How to covert from DVD to iso? I've used several small-size softwares mentioned in the internet but its causing my system to hang and not even works perfectly... so can you suggest an easier way to do that?

We usually recommend imgburn for making ISO's of your disc, we have had a good success with that.
