Full Version: Problems with dark edges and blurry graphics.

Hi!
I recently tried emulating and patching my copy of Monster Hunter 2 to english on the pcsx2 emulator since there is no official american release, but ran into some graphic issues.

As for a little backstory, I followed a guide by a gent named Akabane for the patching itself(pretty smooth, no issue there), and his emulation looks a hell of a lot better than mine. (Here's the link, for reference https://youtu.be/CXULzjbbLvk)

In any case, the image quality of my emulation is pretty blurred(for any game, as far as I tested), and I get these black edges on the right and bottom of the emulation's window, as seen on this image http://i.imgur.com/8FFlLW6.png

I have fiddled around with the plugin settings, but nothing had any noticeable effect.

I run on a Windows 10 machine, with an overclocked FX-8150 and a trusty old HD 7970.
Plugin configs are currently as follows: Note: problem persists even with Interlacing set to auto.

Potentially, it's related to the Nvidia workaround in D3D11 renderer. Does the issue also happen in D3D9/OpenGL hardware renderer?

OpenGL displays nothing, just a white screen with the audio going on normally.

D3D9 actually removed the dark edges. Neat! But isn't it "inferior" to the D3D11 renderer? Or does it not affect anything at all?

In any case, all that there's left to figure now is the blurred look to the emulation.

Thanks!
