I noticed in the recent SVNs there's now an OSD that notifies you whenever you enable turbo/savestate/etc, which is good but the text is too big and distracting so I'd rather have it off. Can't find an option to change it though
You can also change the size and transparency of the text. Look for the osd_* entries in the ini file.
Maybe the option can be tuned in the GUI too. Maybe reducing the default size will be nice.
Ah, I didn't notice it in the INI but I see it's now in the GUI as well, big thanks for including the feature
