EMUCR builds are unofficial, we don't know what they've done with them so we don't want to support them, just in case we end up wasting time supporting somebody on a problem that only exists in those builds. So we have the official git versions Nobbs linked above, which we know how it works

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.
A lot of bugs may be fixed, but new ones may also be introduced with each new developer version. There's a reason why they're called test builds.
