Full Version: games runs fast in window mode, but slow in fullscreen

Is there a way to make the games run as fast in fullscreen as in window mode? The smaller my window is, the faster the game runs.

If the window is set to 2227x 1448, the game runs at 60 FPS, but if I set the window to fullscreen, the framerate drops to 40 FPS. How do I fix this?

My laptop is Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (VN7-591G)
I'm using Nvidia Geforce  GTX 960M
Here are my specs
Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5-4210H CPU dual-core +
Graphic Card: Nvidia Geforce  GTX 960M

Someone else had reported a similar issue , other than that I don't remember.
Try disabling/enabling vsync in PCSX2 settings.

Also go through Nvidia control panel and set everything you can find to performance.

Yup, enabling VSYNC on PCSX2 settings fixed the Fullscreen slowdown... thanx! Cool

Weird though, as I normally use VSYNC disabled to gain a wee bit of performance but
with this card, it seems its the other way around... Rolleyes
