Ive recently got Jak X but when I launch full it will go to the menu with the memory cards and a disc it wont load Jak X even when I select the disc, fast boot does work tho. My second problem which I rather fix more than the first is when I play split screen the bottom screen is black, you can see icons but it lags and the rest of the screen is black. Im new to this so please guide me through.
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

the full boot won't work until you enable the appropriate gamefix (can't rememeber which one it is) that auto-enables in fast mode.
The lag you're experiencing isn't surprising with those specs you have. Split screen can be VERY demanding)

I don't know what software mode is (im a noob to this), could you tell me what that is an how to enable it. Can u maybe give me a link or a bit of info on what gamefix is or how to change/use it.
