I try to launch the ISO of game "Le Maillon Faible" (= french version of the TV game "The weakest link") and I obtain only a black screen.
I joined you the report.
So it is a "Linux" bug? Or the game is not yet supported?
Unfortunately I'm afraid the game doesn't work. You can try to use various interpreter/speedhack/gamefix in the main emulator. Maybe a combination may work.
Note: use the GSdx sw renderer. By the way did you check the status on the wiki ?

I have yet tested differents configurations (interpreter/speedhack/gamefix) without success, only black screen, nothing else.
"use the GSdx sw renderer" --> same results.
On the WIKI the game is just referenced, no compatibility result:

Now how I can help you to debug this game?

It takes a long time to boot (55 s), but the game works with your patch, thank you Prafull.

Do you plan to integrate this changes to the official PCSX2 source?
Finally the 55s black screen at start are screens we can not see with PCSX2.
PCSX2 starts correct emulation at the activison movie logo.
Before this movie you have two screens:
1) load game animation
2) text screen "Le Maillon faible" copyright
3) Activision movie logo
Same result in software mode.
not very important to play the game.
This patch is ready for the 1.6 version?
