Full Version: Imported PS2 Save Not Recognised by Sims 2 Castaway
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Hello,

I'm very new to all this so please don't be surprised if I've done something wrong.  Blush

After building a save game file in Save Builder and importing that into my memory card with mymc, the game simply says that it cannot find any Sims 2 Castaway data on the memory card, when it is very clearly there.

Now I'm not sure of the information you would require to help me with this problem but here is the PCSX2 console: (Note that the emulator loads the memory card 'castaway test, but I actually ended up importing the save into slot 2.)

For which version of the game is the save file you used? If it's an NTSC save file, it won't work for your PAL game.

If it's a PAL save file, then please provide the save file itself, so we can check if you did the process correctly.

Thank you for offering help! I would assume the save file is PAL as I took it from my PAL console that ran the PAL game.

Note that I exported the save file to an .xps file from save builder, so it is an .xps file.

Can you try this one

That worked perfectly, thank you so much! What was it that you changed for the save to work? Just for future reference. Smile
