Yes, the EETimingHack is only needed for the pal version but just check that automatic game fix is on and it will work nice

Edit: If EETiminghack was not enabled in 1.4.0 version (and 1.5git before the GameDB update), there is a crash in the 2nd planet when Ratchet take the dynamo and at the Thug4less orbit level.
