So, randomly yesterday evening PCSX2 stopped recognizing my gamepad. The very same gamepad I've been using for the last maybe like 7+ years and that it had no problem using earlier that day. The controller itself is just a normal PS2 dualshock, connected through a usb dongle and it still works with every other emulator I've tried. This has happened before once but it solved itself by changing the controller plugins back and forth but this time that seems to do nothing. So I don't know what's up, any ideas?

do you happen to have windows 10 w/ automatic updates enabled ?

Yes, but no update happened yesterday. In any case I managed to "solve" the problem by creating a separate game specific ini config for the game that seemingly caused the problem and now both that game works, as well as the program itself when run normally without a game. Still no idea why that solved it but ohwell...
