I have just read that the IOP in the ps2 hardware have the GTE and the Mdec component.

These component are use in ps1 backward compatibility mode on the ps2.

I have a question about the emulation of these microprocessors under PCSX2, it can maybe help ps1 and potentialy ps2 games.

The MDEC and GTE are already handled.
