Hi guys!
I have problem with MGS3 on PCSX2. When I get a new item in the inventory, a window with item name and item description is displayed (aquired) and the game hangs (͡ ° ʖ̯ ͡ °), ie it does not disappear and sound is normal. Once I waited for more than a minute until the message disappeared. I do not know how to deal with this. Anyone have any ideas?
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
I do not have this file in the folder. In MGS The Twin Snakes and MGS2: Substance did not exist this problem. PCSX2 works normally, only the image as if it was jammed. I'm throwing a picture.

the twin snakes ? it's not a PS2 game... I guess you just made a mistake. Anyways...

which folder ? Re-read what I posted, I suggested 2 different folders/path. check both
Yes that was my mistake about MGS TS. A file named emulog.txt does not exist on my PC. The file is not in the My Documents \ PCSX2 \ logs folder. A folder named logs is empty.
Are you using the installer version or the portable version? If it's not in My Documents, check for a logs folder next to the actual PCSX2 executable file.

That's why i suggested 2 different paths.
Did you check in your pcsx2 installation folder ?

Did you use the installer version or the binary version ?
I use the installer version PCSX2 1.4.0. I checked in my documents and in Progam Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0 where PCSX2 was instaled. I used the search option in the explorer, and found nothing.
weird.
maybe you'd need to run as admin.

anyways, there's another way, via the log window :

I finally did it. Here is the content of my log after the problem has occurred. This is how the game looks at the time of the problem, I can not move the snake, only the background noise is working.
