I think using basic mipmap speeds things up in this game. Frame Buffer Conversion has an impact on performance. As for crc hacks i don't think it matters here.

Basic mipmapping really does help this game.
CRC Hacks used to remove the artefacting (at least for me anyway) until the Framebuffer Conversion hack was implemented.

Edit: OK I turned Mipmapping to Fast (Was default on my tests) and now it does work as intended. Jeez.

I'd love to carry on assisting you but it seems like you've downloaded your BIOS from the internet... Unless you can prove you have European, American and Japanese PS2s.

My bad. I fixed that.

Also, as said in my edit, enabling Mipmapping to fast (not default, that was my error) makes the game run at 50 smooth fps
