Hello!  Biggrin

I have a homebuilt PC that I wish to run PlayStation 2 games on, specifically Ratchet and Clank. Some parts are a little outdated and it could use a bit more RAM, but those will come when I have the funds. For now it runs and it runs decently and I have all files I need to run the emulator. My issue is that the game lags horrendously and is having issues properly rendering, most notably characters showing up as just a green model and textures randomly flashing to a static-y sort of thing. The pictures don't do much justice to show the severity of the problem, but they give a glimpse at what it's doing:

My specs are as follows:

RAM: 12.0GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 449MHz (6-6-6-17)
MOBO: MSI 970A-G43 PLUS (MS-7974) (CPU 1)
Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (EVGA)
Storage:

  • 698GB Western Digital WDC WD75 00AAKS-00RBA0 SATA Disk Device (SATA)

Thank you in advance to anyone who can provide an answer!
Download the latest dev build here, use the OpenGL renderer.

the stp for that chip is 1100. The slowdowns could very well be due to that. The general rule of thumb is 1600-1800 for mast games
